WHO IS THIS FOR? This template provides straight-forward, legally-binding contract language for influencer and content creator arrangements, a.k.a. brand deals, paid partnerships, brand sponsorships, content creation services, influencer services, etc. This is for the short-term, one-off type of arrangement between a content creator, including influencers, and their sponsors, such as brands. As such, it was written to be as SHORT + SWEET as possible! NOTE - If your relationship is expected to be long-term and/or high-dollar value, it is generally recommended to hire an attorney directly to draft you a custom contract. WHAT’S INCLUDED? This organized and carefully-crafted 8-page contract template was written from the angle of the influencer to make the brand client process easy and streamlined. It includes concise terms and protections such as:

1. Framework for limiting the scope of creator services to only what is specifically agreed-upon.

2. Terms relating to payment for services, invoices, late fees, and affiliate commission.

3. Ownership and licensing of intellectual property created by the influencer.

4. Provisions on what usage rights influencer grants to the brand, e.g. when, where, how content and I.P. can be used.

5. Morals clause to protect the parties’ respective reputations, as well as non-disparagement language.

6. No warranty of particular marketing or business results.

7. Termination rights for the influencer, if needed, to cancel the agreement, e.g. after product trial or for other reasons.

8. Representations and warranties relating to Federal Trade Commission (FTC) law and no I.P. infringement.

9. Choice of law and venue (select your state to reduce chances you could be sued in another state).

10. Force Majeure clause to protect influencer if unable to perform services due to emergencies outside their control.
